i am looking for a mini van to purchase for about 500 to 1500 dollars 1990 or newer.

Look for an auto auction in your area. Do you know a friend or someone with a dealer's license? You may be able to offer them a few bucks to go to the auction with you and bid on one for you, if you find one you like. Like others have said, junk yards, used car lots, local newspapers want ads or friends. Buying a car in that price range means you need to be very careful as to what you're buying. Good luck

i own a shop,and once in a while i find some real good ones setting on the back row of used car lots,these are the ones they want rid of,and you can get them real cheap,i bought 3 vehicles for a 1000 bucks,and sold one and it payed for the other two,but you can find some pretty good deals if you take your time and look ,and most important ,don't get in a hurry to buy,most people do,and they over look things that are going to be real expensive to repair,good luck i hope you find a good one.
