Being that I have been in a similar situations. I think you just need to give her support, help her get into a re-hab program, but really the choice is hers. You cannot force someone to do something that she doesn't want to do. If she does ask you for any money, or is stealing your things then you may think about spending less time with her. However you should support her decision when she wants to come clean. You may try to talk to her family about her drug addiction. I wish the best for you and your friend.

Regards,
Pablo

The sad truth is nothing much. She has to make the choice herself. You can't make it for her because you can't commit to it for her. You can still be there for her but, Understand that it could get you into trouble. I was in a car of friends 4 girls 2 guys. One of the guys had some drugs on him. He must have gotten high at the club because. We got pulled over and he freaked out and took off all of his clothes and told the officer some crazy stuff. He was arrested and we were questioned for over an hour. So you have to understand that you and her can't be as close as you were. Her habit may get worse and put you in a very horrible situation. I wish I had a more enlighting answer but, Coming from a child of a drug user. There are no happy answers to drug use.

Have you tried an intervention? There is even a TV show called Intervention where someone will come out and people who love this person have a chance to tell how they feel about her and how it hurts them to see her doing this to herself. They will usually give her a choice jail or treatment. That may seem harsh and she may seem to hate you at first but in the long run she will thank you for it.

Like any other addict, they won't listen until they hit the bottom. The best thing you can do is to step aside and allow your friend to take the consequences for her actions. Your best best would be to find a narc-anon or ala-teen meeting and learn as much as you can about what is the best course of action.

Please call her parents and let them know your concern you may need an intervention. You can talk to N.A (Narcotics Anonymous) they may be able to help you cope with the fact that your friend just may need more help than you can give her. I will keep her in prayer.
