Never in my 20 yrs of living have i ever really done anything with this valentine stuff. Im wondering if its just a special day of the year where you can ask someone out or what.. whats the real idea of this holiday other than just handing out flowers, cards and candies to cute girls.

I think it's just one day out of the year set aside to show the one in your life that you appreciate them. i happen to believe that this should be done more than once a year but i also love valentines day and love to get gifts, even if they're a homemade card or a two-lined sticky note. flowers are ok, cards are good but can totally pass on the candies! Just wanna know i'm special :).

It is just like this if you care about someone special on that day it is a day set aside to tell them. February 14. It can be a day to tell friends you care or parents or anyone. It is set aside more for your own special Valentine. You can tell anyone HAPPY VALENTINES day.

Don't think about it so hard. Just tell everyone you love "Happy Valentine's day, and give them a kiss on the cheek and a smile.

That's all thats necessary. Really. Anyone that expects more, is selfish and greedy.

Sitting in your Moma's Cellar won't get you a Valentines Present!

Go out to your nearest Walmart!

You'll find ALOT of needy Women (incl. Rugrats) on Welfare to choose from!

Go ahead!

Grab LIFE by the horns!

For me, it honoring, acknowledging and remembering the people I love. I've heard, though, that the guys get the short shrift on V-Day. I don't know.

i think it is just so that people have a playful break in the middle of a cold and dreary winter....so if you are in a playful mood and you have someone who is too then have fun
