I think it is ironic how in the question you stated "the person you love" because if they truly loved you they would seek help to stop the behavior. I know that it is hard to love someone and let them go but when that love becomes abusive then you must stop and put your love for yourself first. There is no possible way that anyone can tell you how to react or how to deal with the situation. I just want to encourage you to put yourself first and know that if you love yourself first you will be able to make any decisions you need to make about the relationship.

leave him straight away. explain that you cant stay with him for those reasons. let him know. and leave him. no one and i mean no one should put up with an abusive partner!! even if you love him. and DONT make excuses for him "he was drunk, he didnt mean to , he was high , it was an accident, he wont do it again"
if he cares for you and loves you , give him a lot of time a part and he will clean up his act and come back to you a changed man. but you have to give him lots of time and space and before beliveing he has "changed" you have to see evidence , like he hasnt had a drink in months ands months and he hasnt and will never get high again.
honestly girl , i know its hard , but you gotta leave him. you will be happier and way better off with out him. move on and get over him!! he is dangerous and how far will he go?? dont stick around to find out

The question is are you going to let him beat you up more or are you going to stand up for yourself. If you really love this person you would report them and get them help, or if you don't really love them you can keep letting them beat you up and get high!

I think I'm not stupid if the man that i love beating at me to stay with him but there some people like this even they hurting they don't want to leave them because they love the person but not all the same.For me if he's beating me,it means he doesn't care for you at all because if he love you,he can control his self not to hurt the one he love.

move on and leave him i know u love him but u have to think about it would u beat on the one u love u need something good in your life don't have someone hold you back 4rm everything just move on and get something better 4 your life. Good Luck

you pick up the phone, call 911, have his drunk a$$ thrown in jail and when he calls you to come get him you laugh your sober a$$ off and hang up. then you pick up the phone again, call a locksmith have the locks changed on your doors. then you go to his closet, get all of his clothes and toss them in a nice pile on the front lawn with a note that says "hope you enjoyed your last beating, have a nice life".

why are you still in love with this person?? they obviously don't love you, because if they did they would know they have a problem and go to a recovery center to get some help...But when you love someone sometimes its better to let go of them...for your sake.

either i beat the crap out of him or i call the police, no one should be thru that crap, i went thru it enuff times, get out of the relationship, and if ur scared to, ask for help from ur parents or cops, better do it fast b4 u dont get the chance to ask for help
