I got my ear pireced and my mom is tripin on me! She says that guys who have earings are gay. Is that true?

yeah people need to get over themselves. It's not wrong, but if you do follow society's trends then you might have to look around. For example if you live in metro cities, especially in Canada, you can wear ear rings that stretch your ears to your knees, or even the hangy ones, that someone mentioned were "gay". No one will care. You live in small town hickville, then you just might end up being called homosexual, or if you got a girl, people WILL start thinking less of you. This is cause it's the hick thing to do, no one in the village has anything better to do anyway but talk about the latest ear you got pierced.
Anyway, the point is, live your life less based on what others think, do you think it's wrong for a guy to pierce his ear?

there is unquestionably no longer something incorrect with having your ears pierced. i wanted this secretly for years yet at last desperate to do it. My spouse likes it and that's all that concerns. I did get assorted exciting reactions from human beings (have been you below the effect of alcohol, etc), so be arranged for that. i won't be able to communicate to how mom and dad will react provided that I moved out over a decade in the past (particular i'm previous).

Your Mom is flipping out for nothing! It used to be that gay guys pierced one ear, and straight guys pierced the other. But, I've seen straight guys with both ears pierced.
Give your Mom a chance to cool down. Eventually she will.

There are lots of guys with a pierced ear these days.
I'm a straight guy with an earring in each ear. When I first starting going out with my girlfriend, I had a single diamond stud in my left ear. After a few months, she talked me into getting my right ear pierced, which eventually lead to a silver hoop in each ear.
I never thought I would have earring, let alone one in each ear, but I must admit that I totally love it.
If you are comfortable with it, go for it & enjoy!!!!!

No,we live in different times now than our parents.I remember the first time I got my ear pierced.My old man freaked!I'm 40 yeas old now and still have my ear pierced.I'm also a foreman for a large company and they think nothing of it,I'm also a biker so it's kinda the norm.Here is an interesting fact for you.Pirates were one of the first of the male population to start piercing their ears because it was the only way for them to keep their gold with them at all times without losing it from falling overboard etc...

No it isn't wrong. You are the one that has to live with it and like it. I personally think some guys look sexy ! This is my opinion though. Like everyone else said, I hope you had your left ear pierced if you are not gay.

Hi !No it does not mean you are gay,I remember when I got my nose pierced Papa Bear flipped on me he didn't talk to me for 3 days I was 16 at the time ,he got over it the 4th day ! I don't have my nose pierced anymore
though .

Well that depends on which side you pierced it on if on the right you are gay both in my opinion is kinda gay but on the left you straight and theres nothin wrong wit it.

well.. she is right alot of gay guys wear earings and they are stupid for men if you were my boyfriend i would dump you if you had earings in a second so dont put any earings in and let them close up sorry it's the truth

Of course not. There is nothing wrong about getting your ear pierced if that is what you want to do.
Mom will adjust to it, give her time.
