Absolutely it's ok to flirt, and if you feel like the girl is reciprocating that, then why not ask her out? Just make sure that you're not distracting her from what the teacher is saying. It's better to ask after class if your lingering or walking out together. Just be casual, ask her to go get a beer or coffee with you after class or later on. That way, if it dosn't work out, you're kind of covered embarassment-wise. It's ok to flirt and ask girls out, it's even encouraged. Just make sure you get to know a little about her first. If nothing else, you at least made a new note sharing buddy.

Don't ask her out...Not right away that is. Ask for her HOME phone number after you've gotten acquainted with her and she's either touched your arm lightly at least once, or you've made her laugh a couple of times. Do NOT waste time flirting in class. Everyone will treat you as a joke. College is serious. A quick wink and a hello as you come in, a see you after class is it. Yes girls want to learn about that stuff, they are not there to be hit on.

Well I would be quite embarrassed if someone asked me out in class and the whole class overheard! I'D also be embarrassed if a guy was flirting with me and the teacher said "YOU KIDS STOP FLIRTING", lol. It is best to ask her out when you two are alone. If you guys are never alone,try to find a way for just you two to talk.

Lol maybe she liked you all that time! Haha. Maybe she just doesn't remember all the pain she caused you? I also call some of my elementary school classmates that aren't in my class now "friends" even though we really didn't talk too much. Its kind of like those classmates have a special connection though because they really know the real you in a way before you were old enough to hide or change things you didn't like about yourself, idk I guess thats a weird way of putting it. Maybe you should just jokingly ask her why she was such a b*tch to you in 4th grade lol.

Flirting is the funnest thing about class! It'd be harder to make yourself get up and go to school everyday if there was no one to talk to.
