I think you should go to school. My brother always tried to fake it, but my mom wouldn't buy it. One day I told my mom that I didn't want to go to school. She told me I had to go, so I called my dad at home and I told him that I wanted to stay home from school. He said, "honey, you're entitled to a day off". That was the coolest thing ever. But seriously, I had perfect attendance and was in the honor roll so I guess that's the only reason my dad let me stay home. So my suggestion is if you don't have good grades and you miss school a lot, just go to school because you need it.

Get a thermometer, the kind you have to shake to lower it. If you shake the thermometer the opposite way, it goes up to appear like you have a temperature. Don't shake it too much, 105 degrees is not realistic. Keep it right about 101. Along with that, take one can of cream of mushroom soup and dump it in the toilet... it looks like puke. Sit in front of a heat register for a few minutes to get your head warm for when you mother checks your forehead to "see if you're warm". This should do it. It worked for me a lot... until my mom insisted I go to the doctor and the doctor found nothing wrong with me.

The many days I skipped, the farther in school I fell. I ended up having to go an extra year to make up my credits. I was smart in school, I just didn't like getting up in the morning. Being smart with no morning motivation got me failing grades. Go ahead... try the thermometer and puke trick--when the failing grades come, determine for yourself if it was really worth it.

Well, when I was in school and just didn't feel like going that day I would ask my Mom if I could stay home. I did it rarely, so whenever I asked, she said okay. Try to be upfront at all times, that way they know you aren't a liar and it will pay dividends at other times when they need to know the truth. Just remember-
Little lies=big lies.

You'll never amount to anything if you don't go to school. Don't you think adults have days they don't want to go to work? But guess what? We have to go to work to pay the rent, put food on the table, buy nice cars, buy clothing. You get the picture? Stay in school and work hard to keep your grades up. It pays off in the end.

You need to go to school and get your education. The only way you will get a good life on your own is to be smart and the only way to do that is to go to school.

I've always gone to school, even if I was sick.

So, one day I felt really depressed and my mom offered for me to stay home.

Basically, if your parents see you try and care, they might give you a break once in a while.
