By the way, I am a tenth grader that lives in California.

One C won't do much damage and sometimes even an entire semester of bad grades can be explained away (if you had medical or family problems) in your personal statement. If you maintain excellent grades despite the C or have an improving trend your in your grades (they get progressively better), you don't have to worry.

A single grade of "C" wouldn't be looked at individually, they look at your grade point average as a whole. So if your gpa is great, thats fine.

I think it's possible if the course you get a C in isn't very important, or if it is the only C.

If it was a regular C on a test, you could get in still
I plan to go there, and if it is a C on a report card, you have NO chance
Guarenteed.
My brother got a C and didn't get in

u got two years to get it up
u need to get into top 10% and do good on SATs
