How can you tell if a gut likes you/how can you hint him if he does-PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!?

There is this boy named Kyle and I SERIOULSY like, him, but I don't know if he likes me. He is so kind, humourous, fun, and athletic. A boy named Dylan in my class said that he signed me up to dance with him. I danced with him twice. He also goes skating with me and some other people. We play fun games on the bus (like conversation, mini-rough house, share my iPod, etc.) and I really like them. He was just dumped by his old girlfriend, Amanda (because this other boy, Steve, wanted her, so he told her that Kyle wanted to kiss her, but he didn't) (We have never dated) and I tried to comfort him. He would call her every day, but Amanda said that he didnt care about her. I think he is so amazing, but I don't want to tell him that I like him. He makes me feel so carefree, comfortable, happy, and good about myself. I really want to be sure if he likes me, and if he does, how can I hint that I like him (not by talking). It would be cool if we hooked up, but I'm scared. What should I do? Kat

First off, it seems like this boy already digs you. Otherwise the fun games and the roughhousing would not be going on and so frequently. Ways that you can tell though, some are simpler than others. Usually there is a lot of eye contact, smiles, he seems to talk to you more often than the rest of his friends, and teasing sometimes is his priority.

Perhaps this feeling is mutual though, because from what you are saying he is obviously expressing some kind of carefree interest in you. But, don't be so quick to hold your breath just yet. Sometimes boys and men can do this when they feel like they have met another comrade. This world of dating and such can be a confusing one. Let me tell you. The easiest way to go about this though is to take your time. Don't jump headlong into anything.

Perhaps begin to convey your attraction to him. Light touches, eye contact, sweet words, flirty actions and so forth and see how he reacts. But, don't take it too far hun. Don't want to scare him away and don't want to jump into anything that may have longterm lifetime changing aspects. But, see how he reacts to it, if he smiles and replies in some physical way ... chances are he liked it and there is then a big chance he likes you. But, if he pulls away or for some odd reason starts to react to you like he would another one of his 'guy' friends. Then the relationship in his mind is simply plutonic and he has found another comrade in you.

Which either case can be a winning one. Don't despair if this happens. Because sometimes the best of friends have the best of benefits and we can all use another friend.

Well...the best thing that you can do...is to flirt with him a little. Smile a lot, approach him and talk about everyday normal things. Try to pay attention to his body language. Try to become friends in a sort of way...and then tell him that you like him, and see if he would like to be girlfriend and boyfriend.

The worst that can happen, is him to deny you as him wanting to be your boyfriend. If he does, then obviously he isn't worth your time, and there are plenty more guys out there for ya hun :)

Ways to tell if he likes you
