I am considering to download limewire, cuz there are a couple of songs i'd like to have, you know, those songs you like cuz they get stuck in your head so easily that you just wish you can listen to it anytime you want.

i'm not planning to download an entire album, an entire movie, or the Friends season.

but i have heard it is dangerous, and a lot of viruses and spyware and things kill your computer. plus there is supposedly pedo things within the codes and blah blah blah.

i guess, the question is, what are the risks (i'm not asking for an opinion but a true, neutral, down to earth fact) of limewire, including what kind of viruses, what kind of spyware, etc, will i get from it. what are the sure ways to eleminate these risks(etc: i heard that the danger is from YOUR OWN files being sent to someone, what programs should i use?). And if you can, give me a suggestion

I also have AVG Free, which i hear is an excellent program, will that kill the viruses?

If you only want a few songs, go buy a itunes or napster gift card (as little as $5) There are a huge number of viruses and spyware, and it is not worth the hassle.

Limewire is freed from virus, clean and risk-free. yet downloading music, video clips and archives from Limewire might reason plausible on your pc. Why? once you're in seek of a music on Limewire, many consequences will look. a number of those given consequences, have a length of a million KB to 500KB. that is clarify that those archives are no longer a music (there is not any longer a music document that have a 500KB length and much less). It mean that this document comprise a scourge and has been uploaded for the reason of unfavourable your pc. you may acquire Limewire and use it wisely. that is stated to have an antivirus and Limewire will delete promptly the document if that is broken or comprise a scourge. (no longer continuously) that is uncommon to locate a document that comprise virus while looking music or video clips. i do no longer advise to apply Limewire to seek and procure archives (rar, zip, exe, msi...)

I have limewire, and the songs have never had ANY viruses, just dont download any movies, or programs and it will be 100 percent okay.

I download a couple new songs a day, i have lots of space on my computer for downloading tons of music...I just have it on my PC so that I can listen to music while I browse. I never sale the music or anything like that.

There are only a few times that you will run across a song that you try to download, and it wont work because you have to have permission for the license...but its no big deal...all you have to do is delete it, and then get it from another source.

My Dear Friend,

First of all, Limewire is Hard Spyware. It will demolish your entire computer system and throw all your personal information on share...I request you NOT TO USE LIMEWIRE AT ALL.

Better to use Bit-torrent software or more better buy a affordable CD/DVD.

Take care of your computer more...It will take care of you in coming days.

Expecting Success...Always.

Limewire is very safe .... I have been using it for years and never had a problem.... Just to be safe, make sure that you scan your downloaded files with your AV program before opening them. Your
AVG program is an excellent program to take care of that.

Limewire is safe. But don't download any file less than 1mb. It has more of a chance of containing viruses. Enjoy!!
