Most weims do not get their final adult eye color until about 2 years. Some never get the correct color. Since green is an intermediate stage, there is still hope!

A baby's eyes can't get LESS colour, but that's not the same as 'lighter'. Basically that means that if a baby is born with brown eyes (common for non-caucasian babies) they can't get less brown, but if they are born with the dark slate eyes (mostly an absence of pigmentation) that are so common for caucasian babies they can get more light coloured pigment if they are going to turn blue, grey or green. My own son is 8.5 months old, and while his eye colour isn't completely settles yet it doesn't seem likely they will turn brown after having become such a light greyish blue. His eyes actually mostly look like my and my dad's eyes, which is unexpected because all my husband's family have brown eyes.

My weimaraner is about 20 months old and her eyes have been the same since she she was about 6 months old. I'd guess that his eyes are not likely to change color. Enjoy life with a young weimy!!!

That's the cool thing about those dogs. Their eyes don't always turn amber...they do sometimes turn grey or green.

Well, unfortunatly here's no way to say for sure that they would change. If they haven't by now, then they're not going to.
