Sweetie its okay everyone get borad with school. Try this go get your moms timer set it for 15 mins. sit down with everything you need set the timer and start with one page like math. When the timmer goes off stop NO MATTER WHAT!!! Even if your not finished. Reset your timer for 5-10 mins and go play!! I don't mean play like a little kid but do something fun like your radio or computer or snack what ever it is then when it rings set for 15 more mins and finish what you are doing keep on doing this you will get it done. You can use this for anything cause anyone can do 15 mins.

I was going though the same thing and it is just a stage. so what you get grades lower then an A+++ as long as you just try a little instead of flat out not doing your homework/classwork. Maybe if you sign up for a sport you really like it will motivate you to keep your grades up so you can stay on the team. If nothing else works then talk to you parents, and if THAT doesn't work then go see a school councilor. if again that doesn't work go see a doctor. Don't feel like a failure, everything will work out.

I used to be the same way, but I started realising how destructive it was to my education. So to help myself, I started setting goals that I knew would be really difficult to reach (ex. being accepted to difficult colleges, etc. etc.) Also, you may want to increase the difficulty of your course-work. Boredom is usually a problem when you have difficulty concentrating. Continue to challenge yourself mentally each day. Don't automatically jump to a medical reason for your lack of concentration. Make sure you always tell yourself that each homework assignment, each quiz, and every single grade counts. If you are motivated by G.P.A.'s, this really helps. Good luck, and I hope it works out for you!

Find a spot in your house that is quiet and secluded. Make sure it's not too comfortable, otherwise you'll end up falling asleep. Try to make it a little more exciting. After you finish an assignment, reward yourself with something fun.

You need more of a challenge. Talok to your dean or counselor. Also you may be old enough to attend a college course early, check on it.

Get tested for ADD. If you have it there are things that can be done. Herbs, medication or change of diet. Good Luck.
