My boyfriend was very abusive throught he first 4 or 5 years of our realtionship. Choking me, slapping me, pushing me, cheating on me.Then one day he just quit. I mean never again! Here it is 4 years later and tonight he threw a full water bottle at me tonight, so hard it felt like a brick. During an argument, It hit me in my face. I started crying and said I cant believe you hit me again I thought that part of our lives was over?. His reply" I didnt hit you". "You need to quit screaming at me!" Then he left. He has been so good to me for 4 years is this a sign of it all coming back or was it a slip up?WTF?

Is he an alcoholic, who treated you right once he got sober?

I hope he left because he was disgusted with himself.
I also hope there's NO WAY you will put up with that crap again. Not for a day, not an hour, not a minute.

Whether its a water bottle or a baseball bat, "I didn't hit (punch) you" isn't going to fly.
