First of all, it's unclear to me as to exactly why you need to launch/require the flash player. And there are two kinds of Flash players available out there. One is the player that gets installed in your computer whenever you download the flash plugin from adobe's website to enable you to view any and every flash movie/program/games online.

The thing is that the player is supposed to run inside your browser such as IE, Mozilla etc and it's not standalone. If you need the standalone flash player that you can run to, for say, run a saved version of a flash game or movie on your PC, you will need to buy the whole Macrodmedia Flash package. And when you install Flash, not the flash plugin, you will find the standalone flash player in the installation directory.

Now let me answer your questions in brief: 1) how do I launch it? Ans: You don't have to. Simply go about viewing the site where your desired flash movie/program/game is embedded into and if the plugin is installed properly, you will simply be able to see it.

2) or even find it? Ans. It's installed somewhere in your program files directory. Again, if it's not the standalone player, you don't necessarily have to find it out.

I hope your issue gets fixed as soon as possible. If you need the standalone flash player, let me know.

you dont find it or launch it, flash player will run automatically if you are on a web page that has a flash based film or music video, go to you tube and view one of the films on it. if you can see the film then your flash player is working ok. I hope this helps you out

Cel love.. you opt on to run an anti-secret agent ware/virus software like Spybot search for and smash or AdAware once you've it. something has hit your difficult force and made registry entries which have in result grew to grow to be off your Flash participant. in case you'll hit upon it as "freeware", get a replica of CCCleaner. that is an excellent registry purifier and restore device that works wonders at the same time as the little nasties invade your HD. in case you opt on a link ya understand the position to discover me..:O)....
