green stuff... mucus? green equals infection... possibly pink eye... or just a sinus infection.. either way? dr needs to treat it with antibiotics
and remember if it runs clear = allergies, yellow=cold, green = infection.... whether it is eyes or nose....
goodluck

My son did that when he was little so I took him to the doctor. Turns out he had scratched his eyeball so the doc sent us home with some antibiotic drops. Not a huge deal, but definitely take him in asap because if his eye is infected and isn't treated there could be long term problems.

Take him to a doctor to find out what it is. But stay away from antibiotics and other chemical stuff especially on his eye. Try first natural stuff. Research on the web. Chamomile should help. Boil it like you would make a tea but use not chamomile tea bags get the real stuff. Cool it down and apply 3-5 times a day withe a cotton ball on his eye. Should help. Good luck.

Could be many things... eye infection, sinus infection blocking up through the tear ducts. Some kids just are eye-ookie prone. My son had a blocked tear duct when he was born and it is pretty much fully resolved, but that one eye does at times get ookie when he has a cold. Call your pediatrician's office in the morning and ask. Lots of times the nurse can answer your question or can squeeze you in. Tomorrow is a Friday, so call first thing in the morning so you aren't stuck til Monday.

Sounds like conjunctivitis but you will need to take him to the doctor. In the meantime you can wipe the eye with warm water and cotton balls.

I would take him to the dr. When my son had that it was an eye infection. You can try putting warm cloths on it and see if it will help it. If not please take him to the dr.

Wow. The other answerers are mean. I suggest you clean his eye out, then take him to a doctor. Don't just take him dirty!
