Stick with what you've agreed to with Guy 1. You can explain to Guy 2 that you're flattered that he asked you and you'd love to get to know him more, but you've already agreed to go with Guy 1 and you aren't the type of person who will back out.
When you do this you will accomplish two things:
1) You keep your date happy and you look good.
2) Guy 2 has a new respect for you and is more interested.
This is a win-win situation in my eyes. You'll have the opportunity to dance with Guy 2 once you're there anyways,.. just go with the flow and enjoy the night. Don't do anything you'll regret later though!

You should go with the boy you agreed to go with. The reason is because you made a commitment to him. Let's say the shoe was on the other foot and a girl he liked better asked him to the prom and he went with her. You will feel really bad. If the other boy really likes you he will ask you out again. Who knows you may even like the first boy a lot more once you get to know him.

You made a date with someone. The right thing to do is tell the guy you like that you have already accepted a date with someone else. Keep your original date. If you did not want to go with this first guy your answer should have been no. Now you want to leave him hanging?
If you do decide to break the date, be honest with the first guy and tell him that you got a better offer. He will not be very pleasant about the deal but it's better to tell him straight out than have him find out you lied.

Go with the guy you agreed with first. After prom you can go out with the other guy. Breaking promises or agreements isn't a good idea. And guys get their egos bruised easily. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself no matter who you go with. They'll both be there, right?

Tell the one you really like that you already have a date but would like to go to a movie or something sometime. That way you don't hurt the first guys feelings and you let the second guy know that you are interested in him.

go with the guy you like, you have a prom once and you should go with the guy that you really like. If you have a friend that doesnt have a date yet, then try to hook up your friend up with the guy that asked you. go up to the guy that originally asked you and say "hey, i no i promised you that i could go to prom with you, but i kinda promised someone else and i sorta forgot..." and see what he says and then say "but the good news is, i have someone that might be intrested in going with you." and then introduce your friend to him. then go up to the guy that you like and say "is your offer still good for prom?" and if he says yes then go with him.

Turn this around-what if you had asked someone and then they backed out on you for a better offer. What would you think of them? You should go with the one that asked first, otherwise you are just low class.

try to get another girl lined up for the other boy and when there is a willing girl, ask him what he thinks about her and then if he seems like he might like her then say hey, you should go to prom with her, and if he gives you a blank look like he doesnt understand, then i dont know. it sounds so bad to have a date and then back out on them. but as long as you have another girl lined up for him then it wouldnt be so bad..

show that you have some regard for God and that u have a heart of Gold, go with the one you agreed to go with first and maybe God will see your selfsacrifice and send him back your way or even something better
