For the past couple of years, my legs have been turning a weird red-and-white color. It looks kind of like the color of salami. I was in a really bad car accident a couple years ago, could this have anything to do with it? What could I do to make them look normal? I have nice legs, but the coloring is so weird. Is it my circulation?

I would have to agree that it sounds like a circulatory problem. I gather from your mention of an accident that your legs were injured; if this color change has become more apparent recently, it might be a good idea to consult your doctor. If surgery was done on your legs, it's possible that circulation could have been impaired or otherwise compromised. You don't state your age, but if you are still growing, the changes that are occurring migh be getting influnced by those "old" injuries. I would definitely contact a doctor no matter what your age; circulatory difficulties are certainly the most treatable when they are dealt with early. Good luck!

I have no way of knowing if it is your circulation. A doctor could tell you the answer to that. You could have scarring which is effecting the looks of your legs. I recently heard of people with this condition and their problem was mites under their skin. Tiny little bitty bugs that borough under the skin and cause the skin to look red and white and in between. Some of these people took years to discover their problems, because doctors were NOT familiar with mites. I know someone whose legs got terrible looking and she couldn't figure out why. It turned out she had gotten some animals which she let stay in the house. Her legs were always itchy. Her problem turned out to be fleas biting her, but jumping back on the animals so she wasn't seeing them.
Check out that mite problem. You need to checkout whatever the problem is to solve it quickly. Best wishes!!!

hmm... sounds like a problem with the circulation in your legs. you should probably just get some tanning cream or tanning moisturizer -- it actually works pretty well. and it's cheaper than going to a tanning salon, and probably healthier. just keep doing that until the problem goes away. if it doesn't go away for a REALLY long time, maybe you should go get it checked out -- it might be more than just bad circulation.
