do you think it would be bad if i got a little baby colt and named him Barbaro? he wouldn't be for racing u know he's just a pet horse u ride wenever because i love the name Barbaro and i loved Barbaro him-self so i wanted to name my new colt that (if i get 1) because i miss Barbaro and i will always 'member him. do think it would be okay?

It would be a nice tribute, especially if he was a bay like Barbaro was. I bet even the Jacksons would be pleased to hear that he touched your life that much. Good luck if you ever do get little Barbaro. :)

I think I'd name the colt 'Barbaro Spirit', or 'Barbaro Style'...something that incorporates the name and enhances it a bit. That would make the name original, and keep the spirit.

Barbaro was one heckova horse, and well worth remembering.

I don't think so. I can see him now in the the show ring "1st place Barbaro." Actually I think you should just kind of like a memory of Barbaro symbol.

I think people will think you are sick if you name it barbaro, but the name Barbaro Tribute as a show name would be ok. If you are going to show it, don't name it barbaro.
