Why is it the only Christians the world has ever heard of are the ones who mess up?
The people who proclaim it the loudest? To tell you the truth, I had never even heard of Ted Haggart before that story broke.

Because all people sin. If one puts himself out there, there is always going to be someone looking to bring them down. Same as in politics, the more exposure you get, the more likely someone will find your faults, and everyone has faults.
