sony vegas?

When I place a clip on the time line and grab either end of the clip and pull (drag) --- it use to show the clip in the preview window as I pull but now I can't see anything. What did I check/uncheck?

Please help Thanks

I have premiere pro, but this should apply for all editing programs. If you have a little bar (or line) which you can drag across your timeline to see the video, put the bar above the ends of the clip you are dragging and then drag. Hope this helps!
