Seriously it's wrong. Wrong for him and wrong for you whether he is married or not. Very unnatural affections.
It's not like a brother to brother relationship or a father to son type thing obviously so it is an abnormal crossing of an acceptable proprietary boundary line morally to be physically affectioned towards one another in this way.
If I were his wife....well, let's just say thank God I'm not! There. I've said it kindly and without any Bible verses!
You do need to seek a relationship with Jesus Christ though and come to a realization of healthy normal male friendships and bonding without the lust factor involved. I'll be praying for you to this end.

I'm a heterosexual with a gay best friend as well....and I can honestly say we've never held each other. I don;t judge....but that is a little weird....definitely some overtones of curiosity on your friend's part. I don't see that as normal heterosexual behavior.

Well Alex, I think that is very obvious that he is interested in you, I mean, I dont think any heterosexual would do something like that, atleast i wouldnt, but he might be scared to admit it. My advice is to wait if he makes a move or admits this to you, if not then just enjoy your friendship and thats all.Dont let this mess with your head, nothing you can do about it so dont sweat it.

He holds you? Like you are sitting on the couch snuggled up to each other?
That does seem kind of odd for a heterosexual guy to do with a friend... but, I'm not a guy *shrugs*

Let's put it this way, would he do this in front of his wife? If the answer is no, then it is wrong. He is probably gay and that part I don't care about, but he is also married and that part I would have a problem with.

I hate to break it to you, but he probably is gay and has feelings for you. The reason he most likely hasn't tried anything sexual with you is because he's married and/or doesn't want to scare you away.

Oh my god - engaging in acts anointed by the dark one - repent, and thou shalt be saved!!!!
but seriously dude, don't be grabbing his package, that might lead to full-blown gay homosexual activities and then where would you be?
