I would really hope that every christian knows that.

But then again I would be surprised if they didn't.

well yeah...christianity is a form of religion that Jesus was the savior, and before he came around there was no christianity. just the jews. Jesus was a jew, but then he told how he wanted things to be...and BAM the birth of christianity. everybody knows that.

Yes, of course.

I think some of my Christian brothers do forget sometimes though. This is why we need to respect our Jewish brothers and sisters.

Certainly! And I'm sure glad that us Gentiles were grafted in! And, correction; Christianity has always been in existance. All of the worship and old covenant law pointed to Christ and were types and shadows of the Messiah, who is Jesus Christ. The plan of salvation came from God; religion from men. Like Abraham didn't have a Bible yet he understood God and knew Him and the longer he knew God the more God let him know. In other words, my Christian roots go back to Genesis 1 and then some!
"(Rom 1:16 KJV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

"11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;" Ephesians 2

I can still see an old photo of a man standing up in the pew in a Congregational church and shouting at the pastor, "What do you mean saying Christ was a Jew!"

Judaism, Christianity and Islam all have the same root...

People have been labeled "Christian, Jewish, and Muslim", but they should all be labeled "Followers of (the same) God".

There are some uneducated people who do not know that. I told a woman that once and she was very offended and declared she did not believe it. How she couldn't I don't know.
