I think if you actually believe that you suck, you will suck. Now, if you are wanting to get better than make up your mind that you are going to be better and become better. Do not become better because someone else wants you to, but because you want to. The mind can achieve what the heart believes.

If your in a relationship and your bf or hubby is saying that to you,
it might be a way of controlling you. People in control normally belittle tear down the others self confidence with the end result of making them dependent. Do not allow this to happen. Whatever the accusation is. Stand up for yourself, keep your head held high, make eye contact and voice your conviction.

Well....if you really, honestly suck at something (which is certainly no shame...we all have things we suck at)...why would you need someone to tell you before you start to believe it? Assuming you have normal intelligence (aka "walking around sense"), wouldn't you know it yourself, without anyone telling you?

Sure, if someone tells you that you're bad at something enough you will start to believe. Have faith and confidence in yourself. Work on any short-comings you have then you'll improve
