There are too many possibilities on what could be wrong with her. It could be something as small as a cold to something as serious as cancer. It wouldn't be fair to you or her to try to diagnose her on the internet.

First of all, did your vet physically see her or was this an over the phone diagnosis? If it was just over the phone, you need to physically take her to see the vet immediately! She is obviously lethargic and is unable to eat or drink on her own. That is NEVER a good sign....something is going on.

If she has gone in to see the vet, you should take into consideration when she started her meds. Sometimes it takes a day or two before you see any improvement. If she is not any better within a day or two, take her to see another vet. I think she deserves a second opinion.

How are her nose and eyes looking funny? How long ago was she taken to the vet?

It's not good that she isn't eating or drinking without help. You may need to take her back to the vet. Or if the vet tries to brush you off, find a different one.

Good luck!

I have a pomeranian (small dog) and they can sometimes get hypoglycemic, which kinda sounds like the symptoms your dog is having. I have to give her honey water by syringe or Nutrical from the feed store. But I would highly recommend talking to the vet again since the medication isn't working. Good Luck
