Yeah I have a question for you...

Why is it that you say evolution does not occur? Really, I want to know. Could you please give me a good reason as to why you say this? I haven't gotten a good response yet. If you possibly can, please give any evidence you have. Thanks.

No you don't, you just want to start arguments. You know they're not going to convince you, so really, what is the point of this question???

As a creationist, I would say that most creationists believe it because that is what they're taught. And the same is true for most evolutionists. Most evolutionists don't have a deep scientific knowledge of bio-chemistry and various other disciplines relevant to evolution. But they have been taught by professors and they feel it generally makes sense.

Now evolution isn't counter to scripture in any direct sense. Most Christians will make a case that it is, but strictly speaking, that is open to interpretation.

I don't believe evolution accounts for our species origin. At first I didn't believe it because I was taught it was untrue and flawed. Then I began to read literature in favor of and against evolution, and now I'm even more confident that my belief is supported by science.

There is a lot of "just so stories" published in evolutionary literature. They make a case that evolution is plausible, then they make the leap that because it's plausible, it's actual. Then there is the constant rhetoric that "there is an overwhelming amount of evidence for evolution" even though many of Darwinism's key figures admit it's shortcomings.

So evolution is far from vindicated scientifically. If one day it they find a way to prove evolution and make it falsifiable then I will be in error and accept that. I just hope if the theory of Intelligent Design continues to develop as a valid scientific theory, and if it science ever concludes (based on positive detection - not inference) that it is true, that Darwinists will be graceful enough to accept that they had it wrong.

Because the evidence is simply not there! Those who said evolution does occur are fudging the issues. Yes, animals change, but only in the sense that there are varieties of the SAME KIND. There are big cats and small cats, but still the cat kind. I don't call that evolution, but variety within the same kind. You just need to ask yourself what kind of OBSERVABLE evidence evolutionists give to prove that evolution occurs and I can almost bet on it that it would be a case of variation within a kind, and not evolution where one kind of life form changes into another new kind, like a dog to a cat or a bird to a monkey.

Micro-evolution (variations within kind) does occur and can be demonstrated scientifically. Creation and Macro-evolution (microbes to man concept) are both belief systems and can not be validated by the scientific method.

In order to use science to prove either the phenomenon must be:

(1) observable
(2) testable
(3) repeatable

Observable - one must be able to see the process from start to finish - No one can observe Creation or Macro-evolution in its entirety - One can observe Micro-evolution however. Numerous generations of some short lived kinds can be observed to document changes.

Testable - one must be able to devise an experiment or series of experiments to demonstrate the phenomenon - You can't test what you can't observe

Repeatable - the experiments must be performed numerous times to validate that the results yield a clear, well defined, systematic process - You can't repeat what you can't test

Darwin states the assumptions, and corresponding problems, with evolution a number of times in "The Origin of the Species" and "The Descent of Man." He understood the scientific method well enough to realize that evolution had discontinuities in it.

EVOLUTION

The introduction to Genesis and to the whole Bible ascribes everything to the living God, creating, making, acting, moving, and speaking. There is no room for evolution without a flat denial of Divine revelation. One must be true the other false. All of God’s works are good, great, wondrous, and perfect.

Man starts from nothing. He begins in helplessness, ignorance, and inexperience. All his works, therefore, proceed on the principle of evolution. This principle is only seen in human affairs: from the hut to the palace; from the canoe to the ocean liner; from the spade to the plowshare to machines. But the birds build their nests today as at the beginning. There is growth and development within man, but no passing, change, or evolution out from one into another.

For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be evident stages of evolution today. You would be able to find species in many stages of evolution in nature right now. For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be no God. And that’s exactly what evolutionists believe and are trying prove. The evolutionist bases his or her conclusions on human assumptions and reasoning, instead of on the documentary evidence of the manuscripts.

If you can believe in a "big bang" and there were people,
trees, fields, hay, fruits, vegetables, sky, water, hundreds
of different animals, coals, Indians, etc., then you're a very
gullible person. I believe in God, the Creator, who carefully
created each animal, the sky, the land, the water and Adam
and Eve. We are each the same and yet we are each
different and none of us came from monkey (well, maybe
you did). God is the Alpha and the Omego which means
the "beginning and the end" so He will be there at the end
also. I hope He accepts you for His wonderful eternal
life.

you know i left this site for like 4 months, and i just came back, and there is still all of this creationism/atheism debate. It is a never ending debate that is never going to be settled, and its pointless trying to understand the other side of the debate. Just give up.

Does not occur?...eh....

I just don't believe we are the result of several mutations coming from apes.

Evolution is a broad subject.

Oh, hey. Evolution couldn't cause a rainbow.

Einstein said, "Science without
religion is lame. Religion without science is blind."
In one of his essay he states, "The World as I See It,"
Einstein wrote, "I am satisfied with the mystery of life's eternity
and with a knowledge, a sense, of the marvelous structure of existence
- as well as the humble attempt to understand even a tiny portion of
the Reason that manifests itself in nature." While Einstein referred
to the Designer as "Reason" rather than "God," his writings
make it very clear that he believed that an intelligent Designer
crafted our universe and all that is within it.
