I go through the same dilemma when I have nothing to do the next day. I guess it's because you may feel like you're wasting the day by waking up past noon (or later on occasion). But by the same token, you're technically wasting the night by going to sleep early. It depends on how you were brought up and how you function when waking up later in the day. Remember, it's a vicious cycle, you don't have work tomorrow, but you may the next day. This means that you'll probably have problems sleeping tomorrow night when you need it unless you use a sleeping aid.
Until then, I suggest going to sleep when you feel comfortable and drinking plenty of caffeine in the morning to compensate!

You answered your own question.
You want to do what you feel. But you dont feel like sitting by the computer at 4 in the morning. Hence you dont want to do it.
I'd suggest going to bed and having some good rest rather than staying up all night and then feeling dull and lazy the entire day tomorrow

Go to bed in 2 more hours. Enjoy some relax time now on the computer...but still go to bed early enough to have a productive day tomorrow.

I have always thought that I should not be sitting in front of the computer at 4am either, but in my bed, fast asleep. My employer, however, seems to think that I should be at work, and gets a little upset when I curl up and go to sleep. I guess even adults can't have everything :/

Gosh, I think if you are staying up to enjoy a little entertainment, it's better to be in front of the PC than to be out at a club, half smashed and then wondering how you are going to get home. I see you are relatively new to Y!A. It will be easier to leave us when you've had a bit more of us. If you don't have any pressing responsibilities, why worry. Shoot, enjoy yourself.

Go outside, only spend a few hours on the computer, get some exercise, find a boyfriend.

you shouldnt yeah your old enough but your better judgement is lacking your parents told you to go to bed and do things for a reason you are old enough that you should do them without parental supervision not just dont do them

Possibly, you're subconsciously thinking to yourself that there are better things to do than letting our comp's control all of our time :)
