They thought it sounded good back in the day...but now they regret it. Thats why xtians pick and choose what parts of the Bible are "Word of God" and which are just cutsie lil parables or metaphores...so actually it worked out alright for them, they can make up anything they want.

It is a sin to bear false witness against another. You will have to give an account to God for doing this. You are ignorant of the ties between Jew and Christian, have you heard that the laws of the land, years long before you were born were based on The Jewish and Christian faiths. We share the same God. You are just trying to stir up a problem.

Christianity is the Jewish Faith. Christian Jews simply believe that the Messiah has fulfilled the Old Testament, and established the New Covenant.

Catholics still follow the Ten Commandments. The Old Testament wasn't stolen from the Jews because Christianity is the fullfillment of Israel.

The previous testomony is of the previous Covenant that is suitable to the guidelines and prophesies that have yet to be fulfilled and prefigures the arriving of Jesus. you need to think of of the previous Covenant as being something of the previous with Christians. the hot testomony is of the hot Covenant that is suitable to the guidelines and prophesies which had already been fulfilled via Jesus. you may think of of the hot Covenant as being something of the present and destiny with Christians. The previous is considerable because of the fact it makes the present yet we live interior the present no longer interior the previous wherein we'd desire to continuously be looking forward to the destiny. Jesus did no longer abolish the regulation, Jesus had fulfilled the regulation yet as Christians we are no longer human beings of the regulation yet fairly human beings of Grace. So what does the 613 Mosaic rules mean to a Christian? no longer something they are of the previous. previous Covenant = Moses New Covenant = Jesus

I am a Christian and I love my Jewish brothers and sisters. Were it not for them we would not have our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I don't understand why you think that Christians don't like the Old Testament. All the Bible is given for us. Not portions of it. May God Bless U.

Fair question. I guess because Jesus was Jewish and it shows the context in which he lived and it gives the story of the human race up to the time of Jesus. It also explains the concept of Messiah. All of which is important to the story of Jesus. Without it the NT would not have the same meaning.

I really wish there were more intelligent questions on this site. I am so tired of the obvious "stir the pot, I need some attention" posts.

Sorry, Christians don't steal. Perhaps we badgered them until they gave in and gave it to us. Kinda like we're doing here to you all on YA.
