One day we can’t find my young stepson, (who is always bringing up the fact that he was immaculately conceived). So, we looked everywhere and finally find him in the synagogue, lecturing to a group of rabbi (and in a very condescending tone I might add).

So I asked him why he hadn’t told us where he was going, and the punk says: “You should have known that I would be about my father’s business”.

So, what to do with a kid like that? Is his big mouth and attitude going to lead him to trouble with the authorities, I wonder?

Tell him you love him. Let him settle down.

When he does, talk. Heart-to-heart. You might be surprised at what he knows.

Unforgiveness is the root to bitterness, and eventually, hate.

Have a good day, Joseph.

By the way, you forgot to mention your step-son is 12 right now.

So Joseph, now you live in 2007? And you still have problems with Jesus? Don't worry about the lad. He will make his mark in the world. They still know all about Him even in 2007 after nearly 2000 years. His influence has changed the world.

I wouldn't worry about it. There's not much you can do at that age anyway. they want to rebel, so any negative attention is warmly welcomed. If people really don't want them in their house of worship, I'm sure they can find a way to have him removed themselves. It sounds really annoying though. Good luck to you.

If his fate turns out to be like someone else I know who went thru similar circumstances, the authorities are the last people He is worried about. One day at the name of Jesus every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord. May God Bless U.
