well I am japanese so i might can help you with this.
We like fasionable guys like model from the magazine. If you are tall and fasionable you`ll get their attention :) Then just give them big smile! But its really depense on what kind of girl she is....so I can`t say this is always work. But please don`t be look like a player.

You get her attention the same way you'd get a French or Jewish girls' attention - be interesting. And stop worrying about her nationality.

depends on what type of japanese girl your looking for ...those that are westernized (dont know if that is really a word) (dye there hair and dresses trendy)...or traditional japanese (following customs)...It depends on what your looking for hit me in a email and I will try my best to explain my custom...

most asian girls do NOT like asian guys for some reason. if you want to attract her, be as american as possible. wear a nascar jacket and smack her on the *** when she walks by and say "big daddy likes the way you strut." she'll be in your bed in a matter of days.
