Pregnancy lasts 38-40 weeks from the time of conception (typically ovulation is the 14th day after you begin to menstruate). So, to have a baby in the middle of October, say the 15th (playing it safe in case the baby is a week or two early) then you would need to count backwards on a calendar for 280 days and that's the day you need to conceive. Of course, the problem is that you cannot predict that that day will be your most fertile day unless you are manipulating your menstruation by using the pill. Good luck!
