My boyfriend and I are having an extremely rough time right now. we have been together for over 2 and a half years. I cheated on him during ht first year and he has cheated on me (not quite as much). It took him a while but it hit him and now he cant get over the pain. Long story short we fought a lot and its been painful and we are taking a sort of break and he seems like he doesnt want to talk to me...acts like Im obsessed with him for example I asked him a question about a charity breakfast and if it would be interesting and he goes "I wont be there." I have told him that I would be okay if we broke up. He is short and brief when he does talk to me. He is depressed. I have been trying to work with him on trying to forgive each other and he is completely uninterested. He says he is unsure if he still loves me as a lover or just as a friend. He wont end it and It leads me to believe something is making him stay with me...but he isnt trying to make things better. ADVICE PLEASE.

Yeah, If your givin him some, a man is gonna stay for free pu$$y. If your not, then you really need to end this yourself. Most men wont do the brake up but will do things to make YOU brake up w/ HIM. Do what needs to be.

Life can be short. Is it really worth it to cause each other stress and pain by cheating? If trying isn't working, maybe it's time to end it and move on. Next time around, try to end a relationship before getting with someone else. It will be better for everyone involved. And, the longer you are faithful to someone, the more intimacy you will have with that person. Hope you feel better soon!!

It's pretty obvious. He really does love you but he just feels a lot of pain and doesn't want to fight. My boyfriend and I are going through a rough time too. We are always fighting and I'm just confused as to what is going on. I can tell he wants to break up with me but he won't. But anway, just try to sit down and talk to him about it and have him tell you what's wrong and wha'ts been going on lately. And if he doesn't answer then just give him some time. Maybe there's a solution to all this.

Wow. You can't tell me you're okay or satisfied with this relationship. Sometimes, people just aren't meant to be together. In fact, sometimes people in relationships do nothing more than bring the worst out in each other. If he won't break up with you, then you might want to think about breaking up with him. Permanently. And maybe a little counseling wouldn't hurt.

Sounds to me like your down for the count. Obsession will drive people away. If you can no longer communicate, you can not likely resolve anything. I would do my best to part friends. You weren't faithful to each other, so it probably wasn't destined to work out anyways.

Sweetheart if you are still giving him some, why should he terminate anything. Try cutting him off see how long he hangs around.
