What does it mean?

AIM Pro error, when i send the message for my friend

"You cannot start an IM session with this contact. Your company policy restricts connections to select approved companies"

It probably means your company has explicitly blocked anyone from using AIM, as its usually a time-waster.

You could mess with proxies and the like to get around this, but you're probably better off just getting back to work. =]

If you're at home and get this error message, then you probably have a Firewall on your PC that is blocking the connection.

It means your internet use at work is restricted. I'm guessing this a work computer or you are on a company server.
