First, no matter if you are working with blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, or any other type of berry (or grape), wash them first. Make sure there is no mold or soft discolored spots, and no dirt clinging. Trim the strawberries and remove any stems from the blueberries.
Then, use cookie sheets to lay out the berries without touching. Fit as many as you can per sheet, but make sure they are all separate. Chill the berries in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes to an hour. Then freeze them for at least 4 hours (depending on how powerful your freezer is). Once frozen, the berries can be stored in freezer bags and defrosted by the piece instead of in large clumps. Label the bags with the date and contents.
Grapes freeze very well, but because of their sugar content, they take a very long time to freeze solid. However, they make a great snack frozen: both cooling and juicy.

Yes you can. Freeze with a sugar/syrup base. Look in the Ball canning and freezing book, or go on line for the recipe. Nearly all the banana splits you get are from frozen strawberries. You can also get frozen strawberries at your grocer in the frozen foods section.

Absolutely fine frozen. Not quite like fresh but they are great thawed in the Microwave they create their own juice. use to top desserts & bake with or just to eat as a fruit. Never tried to eat them frozen so I don't know. Pick them in the summer & I freeze them. Cold here so it is a long time before they are available from the garden again. Love them.

Definitely. As a matter of fact, last year we went strawberry picking and we had to freeze 30lbs of strawberries. They lasted from june until a couple of weeks ago. keep in mind though, that they will not look like they used to. they'll be good for fruit smoothies or even as ice cubes.

Yes, strawberries freeze very well up to 1 year. You can add sugar if you so desire.

Yes...but they'll be mushy when thawed. You can use them in recipes or on ice cream.
