When Romans pretty much says its BAD BAD BAD to be gay or lesbian... and Leviticus also... but i know... thats OLD TESTAMENT... what bible scripture makes you believe it is ok to be a homosexual. Just wondering. i don't really care who you screw, so long as no gay folks hit on me. It makes my stomach turn to see men kiss. But i don't hate yah. Sorry

I would have to say that ANYONE can make their own interpretations of the bible. Humans are the masters of manipulation and, as a result, can justify ANY behavior as they see fit.

You want a scripture? How's about John 3:16 -
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that WHOSOEVER believeth on him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
Now then, the Bible didn't put any qualifiers on the WHOSOEVER part - that's the Christians of today. Seems pretty simple to me - whoever believes in Jesus and all that stuff gets to go to "heaven." I am an atheist but I know the bible inside out and feel your question is really easily answered and quickly refuted.

There is no such thing as a homosexual Christian. They may claim to be Christians but it is impossible to be both.The one point that everyone seems to miss is that in order to be saved you have to admit what you are doing is wrong and ask for forgiveness. We know that we all sin , the difference is we admit we sin and ask to be forgiven. As long as you believe being a homosexual is not a sin you cannot be forgiven. You MUST admit it is wrong first.

Jesus came along and said - I bring you two new laws to replace the old laws. These were 1) Love your God with all you heart, all your soul, and all your mind. 2) Love your neighbor as yourself.
All we need to do is put God first and love each other and the world would revolve so much more smoothly!

Is it wrong to be lesbian too??? I never read that in the bible. It sure makes it sound like men are not supposed to be with other men but I never found anything pertaining to women. I just figured that was because men are pigs and of course it should be ok for women to be with women and not for men to be with men because what woman contributed to the bible??

Repentant homosexuals have just as much chance of being saved as repentant heterosexuals.
And there's lots more heterosexual sinning going on then the homosexual kind.

Any honest, decent, kind, God Fearing Homosexual will be "saved" as you call it, far faster than a Judgemental Heterosexual such as yourself..
Where in the Bible is written that we were placed here to Judge our fellow man? Point that verse out for me if you would..
