It depends on if there is any room around your molars. If you have a lot of crowding then you need spacers to make a tiny bit of space to put those braces around your mohlers. Some people have enough space to where they dont need spacers. Majority of everyone who gets braces need spacers.

It depends on what your dentist or orthodontist recommends. Some people have small problems that are mostly cosmetic which braces correct easily. Others have bite problems that can cause bigger problems latter in life, which need braces to correct.
For some people it all depends on if they afford them or not and if they have extended health benefits making easier to afford them.
Some people don't care, no matter what and decide not to get them.
Some don't want to go through the pain and care needed for them.

because some people need them & some people dont
if they have cricket teeth they need it & if they have perfect teeth they dont need it.
They need it because it make there teeth perfect & they might not like the teeth they have before

some teeth are too small....others are to big........spacers are not mandatory...just help with position, and soreness....funny thing is they make ya sore...lol
