They don't feel weird at all once you get them on and have gotten used to them. Not to scare you, but it does indeed hurt when they're tightened, but the pain goes away really quickly. After a while, you don't even realize they're there.

I had braces when I was younger for 3 years and when they first get put on it won't hurt the first day but the next day it will feel like someone is pulling on your teeth but that's just them straightening out, the pain will be bad for a few days but a few asprins will straighten them out. Also, every month you will get your braces tightened and that will make them ache too for a day or few. When they first get put in they will rub against the inside of your lips but you'll get used to them and you'll stop doing it eventhough it's not intenionally most people sitll do it, after a month or so it won't even feel like anything is even in there.

I just got my braces off. They feel weird for the first few weeks against your lips, but you get used to them and soon they almost start to feel like normal. And after that you can only really feel them when they get tightened or the wires get changed.

braces they don't really hurt that bad at all i have them when u get them on the hurt that's why they recommend you to eat soup. and before i get mine tightened i always take a Advil or something so it won't hurt really bad and before you go get them i would probably take a Advil or something to so you won't feel the pain as much

they will kind of hurt at first, but you really wont notice them once you get used to em! cuz ive had my braces for about 2 months now! and it sux having them! but in the end you will be happy that you got em! GOOD LUCK!!!!

for the frist week youre going to hurt a lot but i had them for 2 years and eventually i got used to them so it just felt like another part of me (it will feel wierd when you goet them off)

stock up on soft foods [mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, pudding] before, and take tylenol. it doesnt hurt when they put them on, you j ust feel sore. afterwards, you dont even know they're there! the real problem is after you get a few teeth pulled out, i did on wednes day.
OUCH!

they hurt the insides of ur mouth sometimes right when u get them, and itz hard 2 eat cuz they get sore, and itz embaressing when u smile cuz u hav food and stuff stuck in them... and they taste weird S:
