my ex and i were together like 7 years he immediately went into another relationship with someone else...who is 9 years younger than him...now he talks like he is so in love with her shes his soul mate and they are getting married they have been together now almost 7 months after i left she moved in a week later....i have known this guy for years and he has changed everything about himself to what she likes...i guess what im asking if not just venting is could this really be a true love thing i mean hes 27 and shes only 19 its not making much sence to me either cuz he has lied to her about so many things but what can you do...

Sounds to me like he's bitter about the break-up and he's trying to prove to you he's moved on in order to make you jealous, if he's still has contact with you he probably still has feelings for you because most guys who are truly in love with someone else don't stay in touch with an ex unless there's a good reason like kids... it also sounds like he's playing her, younger girls are not as experienced and they are easier to lie to.

Some guys and this is true! They can be with a woman for years they break up and suddenly abracadabra they're a whole new man they are in love and willing to leave the world for this person! Alot of mean are w/certain woman in practice relationships! So they know what to do and say the next time you know when it's for real and counts!

Let him go. He lost out when he broke up with you. Look for bigger and better as far as a new BF. Tell the ex that you are happy that he's found his "soulmate," and wish him a happy life. Don't go shedding tears for his stupidity. Hold your head up high, and walk proud. You have been liberated and now you can live your life as you see fit, this time with a new BF who will love you and take those steps with you.

Sounds to me like you need to find a new guy. If he's moved on, why shouldn't you? Show him that you know how to get over an ex too... Find someone who will stay with you, and love you like he loves her, but not lie to you at all, and marry you and live happily with you forever.

He might be trying to make you jelouse. You never know. Also, boys lie to girls because thye'll become more interested. Boys only care about is that if the girl likes them. So, the only way to get a girls attention is to lie to them. So if a girl says " I love soccer." He'll say" I love soccer too!" When actually he dosen't.

No it's not. He thinks he's the man now because he landed a younger girl. It also seems like they were seing each other while you guys were together. She'll dump his butt in a few months you'll see.

Whenever I read or hear stories like this, the first thing that comes to mind is that he was into this chick for a long time before you broke up and was maybe even sleeping with her. Forget about it and move on. Don't waste your life concerned with such nonsense.
