I never saw them as perverted. Your looking for something that was not intentionally meant to be. People's vocabulary changes through time and meanings of things have changed. So what was not at all perverted when Little Debbies or Suzy Q (or what ever) came out, someone out there that has to much time on their hands might make nothing into something.

I think it is the other way around (names became perverted because they were applied to a hostess snack). All those teenage boys spending too much time eating Hostess Snacks, with not much else to do but come up with rude names for things.

The only thing perverted is your mind. You have some serious issues with word meanings. I suggest you invest in a DICTIONARY & look up the words in question. This classifies as a brick short of a load.

I doubt it. There are dirty euphemisms for everything so even innocent things can sound really dirty. "licking the lollipop" used to be something children could do to their candy and was not considered a sexual phrase. See how perverted we've become.
