2/3 of anything is simply 2/3 times the item.
2/3 of 1 hour is 2/3 hour.
If we convert hours to minutes, it is 2/3 times 60, or 120/3 or 40 minutes.
You can represent this on just about any type of diagram - a simple line or pie chart.

(2/3) hour * (60 minutes/hour) = 2*60/3 minutes = 40 minutes
the concept of "2/3" isn't that difficult, so I don't see why we need a diagram, but you could use a clock face and darken the region swept from 12 to 8. On the clock face, 1 hour corresponds to a full circle (360 degrees, but in time this is called seconds instead of degrees) of the minute hand for which there are 60 divisions (i.e. 60 minutes in an hour).

1 hour = 60 mins, divide by 3 (60 / 3 = 20 mins - or 1/3rd of an hour). multiply by two (20 x 2 = 40 mins - or 2/3rds of an hour), you could use a pie chart to represent this.

2/3 of an hour is 40 minutes... i would use a pie graph and divide it into 3 sections, grey out 2 and call each section 20 minutes
