My best friends grandma has breast cancer how can I make my friend feel better?

just be there for her. listen to her when she is bummed out about it. do research with her. don't let her listen to people that say you will only live a few years if you have chemo. i personally know several women that have survived 10 or more years. i myself am a 7 yr. survivor. bless you for wanting to help your friend.

offer to help your friend make some cookies or soup or something for grandma. If grandma lives nearby, and she is having radiation or chemotherapy, grandma will be too tired to deal with stuff. Offer to go shopping for her. Take her to the hairdressers (if she has hair) or to get a mani/pedicure.

Helping grandma is a great way to be close.

I lost my nana to colon cancer in '75. Your friend's grandma has a great chance of surviving breast cancer (2/3 of breast cancer victims do survive...did you know that???). Chin up, everyone! That is what grandma needs.

Well tell her there is a cure! Its called the Hallelujah Diet. Its based on the bible, it really really really really works. It cures every sickness you can think of and prevents you from being sick. You dont eat meat, dairy, or sweets. All you eat is fruits and vegitables. It sounds really crazy but it works. Just let her know that you are there for her if she ever wants to talk. Sometimes not saying too much is better as long as she knows that your ears and arms are open for her her anytime.
