The Antichrist is the son of Satan. The Beast (or Antichrist) will probably be a Gentile political figure and . We say "probably Gentile" because of Revelation 13:1-10

Your question is good, but not clear. The "Anti-Christ" is a Devil possessed world dictator who will come to power for the last seven years of world history. (The "Beast" of Revelations 13) During the first three and a half years he will speak peace and look good to those who do not know who he really is.
Jesus talked about this period as the worst trouble that ever was or ever will be when his followers asked him what the signs would be of His coming and of the "end of the world" (Meaning this world sytem- not the planet) You can read about this in Matthew chapter 24.
Also the thirteenth chapter of Revelations gives you a good description of his economic system and how he will use it to try to control every man woman and child.
Jesus specifically tells of something that he (the AC) will place in the temple in Jerusalem (not yet rebuilt) which will start the last three and a half years and his reign of terror. That's why Jesus warns us. It's a horrible thing! "The abomination of desolation" and he tells us to understand what Daniel is talking about (Dan:9:27; Dan.11:31. ) Cause it's the same time--the same thing, but don't get mixed up, NOT Daniel of the Apocraphia, but Daniel of the Old Testament, the prophet Daniel.

On the other hand first John (I believe it is) says that "Even now there are many anti-christs" That was Roman times. By the way, tons of churches say "Don't worry, Jesus is gonna take us out BEFORE that time!" Then why does Jesus Himself say "Immeadiately AFTER the tribulation of those days.." ( Matt."24:29-31) He would come back, and Daniel tells that "the people who do know their God will be strong and do exploits" They're gonna be here! They're not gonna be takin' it sittin' down. Why else should Jesus be tellin 'em to flee to the mountains, Why else should Revelations say that the "Woman" God's bride, the believing church, Flees to the wilderness where He has prepared her a place for a "time, times and half a time" (3 1/2 years!)
