No thats the whole point of desexing so that they don't have the sexual urges. They have their testicles removed which removes all male hormones.

Actually, a neutered or spayed animal still does have sexual urges, as well as domination urges. He may have the urge to mount a cat he finds in "his territory" just to show that he's the boss, the one who "wears the pants" if you will lol. He can also still have a very normal sex life, because as in humans, the testes are not the only place hormones are produced/stored. That is mainly where Semen/Sperm is stored. So he cannot impregnate a female cat, but yes, he can still have sex with her. ^_^ Good Luck

You spay a female and neuter a male...

Cats do not have a sexual life. They will only have sex to procreate, not for recreation. There is one goal in the animal world for having sex - to make babies. When a male is altered, he no longer feels the need to connect with a female, even if she is in heat. He does not have any testosterone to make him want to be with her.

No you do not have a male cat spayed..... they are neutered. They can not father a litter of kitten then. It is a very good thing,as they make much better pets. Please have him neutered.. Thank you.

Once they are neutered, they dont have a sexual life. It can done anytime after 5-6 months.

A fixed male cat will still get urges, he will just not be as aggresive if put in a situation with other male cats. He will stay at home more and not roam as much, but yes he will still get those urges but no liter of kittens will be the result. So your cat has the best of both worlds!

I don't know about cats, but I have a dog that we had fixed and he still gets it on with the neighbor dog. Just because their fixed doesn't mean they still can't have fun.

I think mine does. A friend of mine said that the vet left one nut in him.
