I found your post because I did a google search on "Nytol addiction". Guess why? I'm taking a packet a day - and I've been doing it now for 18 months. I'm an addict born and bred - and I usually get addicted to drugs that are totally inappropriate for a man of my intelligence and sophistication. Drugs like benzodiazipenes and alcohol. I'll probably be smoking banana skins next (or is that just an urban myth?).
Like you I've organised substantial chunks of my life around this stupid drug, including driving miles to get my hands on the stuff when the curious looks I'm getting in the local pharmacies get too embarrasing. In case this needs an explanation, I'm in the UK and we buy this stuff over the counter here - my visits to the US require planning because there isn't a "P" category in most states. A "P" categorisation is when you have to speak to the pharmacist to get it - you usually get a sales person who is required by law to shout, in a voice loud enough to wake the dead, "SELLING NYTOL!!!" This is far worse than the shouted "YES WE DO SELL CONDOMS SIR - OVER THERE ON THE SECOND SHELF". If they make comments such as "you do know this stuff is addictive don't you??" I've developed a number of responses based on the fact that the normal dose produces no noticeable mood swing (you need the whole packet for that!) This is usually something along the lines of "Is it really? Well... I never would have thought... it doesn't even make me drowsy most of the time".
I repeatedly try to stop taking the drug cold turkey - but any grandiose plans along these lines are quickly brought back to reality when I simply can't function at all the next day due to very serious nausea (far worse than my experiences with other addictions years ago). It's like the worst hangover you ever had. The only difference is that the nausea gets worse as the day progresses. It can be several days before I get over such an episode. This fact makes it easy to convince myself that I have to take the drug - not because I'm an addict, but because I won't be able to go to work if I don't. I think that's what they call denial - "I'll give up next week, but I can't even consider this at the moment". It's a stupid lie that I use to deceive myself - the odd thing is that it always works.
God knows what taking this stuff in these amounts is doing to my kidneys, liver, brain - you name it. I was grateful that you verbalised what I've been sweeping under the carpet for a long time. I think I'll get some help. I think you should do the same.
Take Care, and Good Luck.

Face is the part that matters since it's the part you mainly have to deal with all day- an average body would suffice. I seem to appreciate a good body too, but mainly in a "yeah I'd shag her" kinda way. Face is still what really counts when you're thinking of something serious. However, a below average body is never good. One's defecit is made up for by personality at that point. An unattractive body would be someone who is quite out of shape, disproportionate, has bad skin, etc. I don't give high priority to boobs or butts, although either or both are good (preferably the latter in my own opinion lol)

I also got hooked on Nytol, another member of the top 10 abused OTC medicine list. I think I got over the nytol habit since after a while of usage, it caused me to have weird reactions, like my nerves would go really bad. Eventually I had to tell someone, and i'm trying to quit.

It really worries me how so many people are agreeing with you. Your doctor has said no to you, surely that's reason enough to quit. What your doing isn't healthy and the sooner you realise that the better. At least it's not heroin... I guess...
Consider this to be your wake up call!
