I just want a streak white, not my whole head! Kind of like Rogue from X-men. I'm wondering if maybe leaving hair bleach on for longer than usual would turn my hair white? I've bleached streaks in my hair many times so I'm not afraid of that. And I went to the hair place once (to get my tips bleached) and the lady said that she could bleach it white. Could I do this at home or would I have to go in? And would they actually let me bleach my hair that much?

Alternative means other than bleach welcome! Thanks!

go somewhere and get it done. if you leave the bleach on too long your hair will burn and fall out

for something that drastic please, please, please go to a salon. most salons can charge per foil, like $10/foil. say if you get like 4 that's only $40 and at least they can guarantee the color. its not about leaving the bleach on for a long time, because once bleach dries it deactivates. it is about the level of developer, quality of bleach, and number of times you are willing to bleach your hair. also if your hair has color on it (even from a year ago) it will be harder to get super blond.

Honey I wish I knew that you could do that, because I'd be right behind you in line. I'm afraid that to get your real hair that white by bleaching is impossible (my hairdresser says, and I really TRUST him about my hair), but you could buy a 'white extension' and if you put that in 'correctly' it will look 'as real as your hair.' And if you decide you 'don't like that look' you won't have to wait for it to 'grow out' ...

I wouldn't suggest you bleach your hair as you don't know how long it has to stay on and what strength it has to be so it doesn't turn orange. If you mess it up it's not going to come out the way you think. In the end you spend more to fix it and it's not a good idea.
Good Luck

Please don't do that. Please don't take any offense, but you are not a superhero nor a zebra. Keep it how you have it. If you want anything go with some small red streaks. That would be hot.
