What are the symptoms? I recieved a flu shot and haven't gotten anything as of yet, but my roomate didn't get the flu shot and has been feeling lousy with a headach and nauseated stomach for the past 3-4 wks. Just wondering if these are common symptoms for the flu this year?

Is there a flu going around this winter that lasts for several weeks that causes nausea and headaches? What strainds have you heard of that are going around?

Yes, that particular one has been going around the schools here in Reno, Nevada.
I have it right now, actually.

There are too many strains to be able to pin point a particular strain.What you really want to know is which ones are the dangerous and life threatening ones so that you can get yourself immunized or vaccinated against them.
