I did a bit of research because it said that on the side of the can, and from what I can find, milk thistle is used for liver conditions and is a possibly antidote for some mushroom poisoning. Why would Rockstar particularly advertise the drink having something in it that doesn't seem to have any use for most people? Did I miss something?

Milk thistle is believed to have protective effects on the liver and improve its function. It is typically used to treat liver cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis (liver inflammation), and gallbladder disorders. So why on Earth was it added to a beverage that is designed to increase your energy?

I suppose cleansing the liver of toxins will increase your energy levels.

Our livers could always do with a little cleanse given what most of us eat and drink.
