she will go pee but not poop and screams bloody murder if you make her sit till she goes we given rewards and praise but she just wont go please help

Thank you all so much for your help I think we finally got it I made her a potty chart and every time she went she got a sticker to put on the chart I told her when she got 10 stickers she gets to go to the store and pick out a prize that was a week ago today and she already has 9 stars. thanks again!

There are many children who are very fearful of pooping on the potty. Some actually seem to think that it is something falling off of them. It is a very different sensation to poop on the potty than in a diaper.
Some kids wont poop in underwear and as previously mentioned most wont on the floor.
As long as you are sure there is no medical reason for this relax she will eventually work it out.
Due to our current culture and society norms potty training normal ages have been pushed back. There are many many reasons for this and much controversy.
Again relax she will figure it out.

Let her know what a big girl she will be if she goes poop on the potty. Tell her that all big girls can go poop on the potty, and she will be a big girl if she can.
Or, she may need to see a doctor just in case...maybe it's not that she WON'T go poop, but she CAN'T.

Potty-training is so hard. My nephew did the same thing and his mom gave him metamucil or something every day just to soften the stool so it was easier to pass. That was all it took. I hope she gets it soon! Good luck!

Let her walk around the house without her pants.
I don't think she'll poop on the floor.
(Trust me this works, many kids will do it in their pants because they're lazy and they know you'll take care of it) but none will do it on the floor.

stop the bull crap put her back in a diaper for the day time and huggies pull-ups in the evening

she may have a bowel problem talk to her doc just to be safe my nephew went through this and it was a medical need
