i think you misunderstood what it means. laughter is the best medicine for the person laughing.
if your attitude is always like that, then you will never really appreciate laughter being the best medicine. and are you sure you don't make them sick in turn?

First of all, there is "funny". Then there is the "oh my gosh, I can't believe he just did/said that, what an idiot". It's all a matter of what you think is funny. Some people think sarcasm is funny, while others find it repulsive. Some think slapstick humor is amusing, and others think it's childish. It's a matter of perspective. If every guy you meet is a bozo, then my suggestion would be to start hanging around a different crowd.

this depends on what kind of acts that people do to make others laugh, sometimes others are rude and sometimes others uses current news as a way to make people laugh. . . you should be with people that make you laugh on a lighter side and not too rude

Because they're jerks--you need comedians--funny comedians
Funny movies, funny TV shows, funny people, funny books = Good
Jackasses = Not good
