I have painted my sons room turquoise and wanted to put stars on the ceiling and make a replica of the solar system with stryofoam. What else would go good in the room? What color should I paint his dresser?

why not go with a star trek theme using mdf painted platinum or grey make his bed and dresser look like they belong in a star trek bungalow. get creative. If you want to keep with the cosmos theme- how about using grweat stuff expanding foam and make his dresser look like a meteor

Awesome theme! I would paint his dresser black with turquoise knobs. Then take a toothbrush dab it in white paint and flick it on the dresser. It will look like the stars!!! (put knobs on after flicking by the way)

Also, why not paint an alien poking out from behind the dresser (on the wall) paint it an olive green with a light blue space suit with red accents. Working with turqouise is hard!

You didn't say how old your son is but aliens always work!

You could also do something different with the ceiling. You could always paint the ceiling blue or take a paint sponge and dab different colors on it. What color is his bed? If the room is sort of dark in colors, wall, dark carpet, dark window decorations, I would do furniture in white or off white or some bright color that would blend in. Don't know if you were aware or not but you can get the stars that will glow in the dark. I had them on my daughter's ceiling when she was young. Good luck..

Sounds really cute! Maybe paint his dresser like the monolith in 2001: A Space Odyssey ? Or just a darker blue than the rest of the room and add a cute rocket ship to both sides? And don't forget to get him a telescope!
