I am not trying to be gross, but I had SERIOUS runs and stomach problems for 24 hours I thought I was going to die. THe only thing out of the ordinary that I did was take 3000 mg of vitamin C two days in a row prior to that. Could that have caused it? Either that or I am thinking a nasty case of food poisoning.!

too much vitamin C can cause diarrhea. Studies are also hinting that if you are megadosing on anti-oxidants (vitamins and minerals in a cancer fighting combination) while undergoing chemotherapy for cancer, you could actually be feeding the cancer cells, making them resistant to chemotherapy.

Are you sure if it was only a Vitamin C supplement?
The vitamin is water soluble, so excesses of it can be removed in the urinary system. It's highly doubtful Vitamin C caused it.
